I have allergies and COPD which is a horrible combination to have. Since I put an air purifier in my home about 15 months ago I have not had any serious attacks or been down sick. If I get a chest cold I could always figure on going to the emergency room! My lung capacity was at 53% and I couldn't go for more than 4 hours without a breathing treatment. But since I've had the purifer I'm not taking breathing treatments and only using Advair once a day. I believe purifers really work. I am now a home business owner with the air purifier company and if you'd like more information on them visit: www.freedomtowealth.net/indoorpollution

Re: Indoor air purification can reduce symptoms
Mon, June 5, 2006 - 9:39 AMI have Orek's air purifier, and I love it. I have to one in the living room set on the "silent" mode, and the on in my bedroom to "high" so that it acts as a white-noise generator, too!
